En français ci-dessous Dear friends, I wished I had the time to complete the blog but it seems that my new daily life has not given me this chance until now. I still hope to finish updating it in the coming days/weeks. There is so much I would still like to share. Be it as it may, in the meantime, I might as well make it official. After 48 days of cycling, 3915 km covered and almost a million pedal strokes in the legs I arrived in Istanbul on 27 May 2023. I am very happy to have accomplished this personal challenge for a cause close to my heart. Together, we collected the sum of 1400 euros that I have transferred to the “Keep them in school – 2023 scholarship fund”, and that the Turkish NGO TEV (www.tev.org.tr) will allocate to provide education to the children struck by the earthquakes of last February in Turkey.
